The original Drummond Home Hardware was located on Drummond Road for decades until 2005. Then as business continued to grow, the family decided on the new location on McLeod Road. Bob a retired school teacher and his wife Jan pride themselves on the individual personal service they provide all their customers. Along with their eight full and part time staff, they give their customers individual and prompt service the "big box" stores cannot provide while still remaining very competive in their prices.
Besides the service and attention to detail, the business has thrived due to the fact that Home Hardware provides a high quality product and staff is continually updated in the latest of technological development This ensures that the customer receives the most up-to-date product available anywhere.
Drummond Home Hardware stocks a wide selection of items such as small home appliances, electrical needs, plumbing supplies, screw, nails, nuts and bolts ( these are in bulk and available from one to thousands at a time ) , lawn care products and seasonal items such as barbeques, Scotts line of products from fertilizers to soils and premium grass seeds.
Also offered are services such as "self serve "Reverse Osmosis" water, knife and scissor sharpening, key cutting , saw sharpening, Glass and screen repair, and plexiglass cut to size.
Drummond Home Hardware features great weekly flyer specials lasting from one to two weeks. Colour flyers are distributed through the Niagara Falls Review.
The large paint department stocks in oil or water base and with their new colour match system can match any colour the customer wishes. This is in addition to over two thousand colours from their own pallete.
They have recently purchased a five gallon shaker and stock five gallon pails to meet the needs of the contractor or the home owner with a big job.
